Cindy Kaercher makes her watercolours with pigments from the earth, carefully harvested and ground in a mortar.

Hand-crafted watercolours are made in Alsace, in Gimbrett to be precise, and are ground by hand using ingredients of natural origin to create a smooth, nuanced texture.

It is harvested consciously and seasonally, in other words with respect for the plant and its habitat.
