Portrait of March: Marie-Hélène’s Farm

a charming setting in the heart of Kochersberg

Nestling in Ittlenheim, just 30 minutes from Strasbourg, Ferme Marie-Hélène is much more than just a reception venue.

It’s a family adventure led by Guillaume and Laurence Bach, who have transformed this building steeped in history into a haven of conviviality and sharing.

  1. A story of love and passion

The story of Ferme Marie-Hélène begins like a modern tale. Guillaume and Laurence discovered the place while looking for an ideal setting for their own wedding. Seduced by its character and authenticity, they had no idea that a few years later they would become the happy owners.

We fell in love with this charming building. When the opportunity arose to buy it, we jumped at it and changed everything in our lives to give it a new lease of life

With a desire to preserve its soul while modernising it, they undertook extensive work to bring the space back to life and turn it into a warm venue dedicated to events andhospitality.

An exceptional venue for weddings and events

Today, Ferme Marie-Hélène is a must for weddings and other celebrations. Its ideal location between Strasbourg, Saverne and Haguenau makes it a popular address.

“We have a magnificent park, perfect for outdoor receptions, as well as a room that can accommodate up to 60 people. With a professional kitchen on site and our five guest rooms, everything is designed to provide a complete experience for brides, grooms and their guests.”

But beyond weddings, Guillaume and Laurence want to make their farm a real place to live. They also host corporate seminars, wine-tasting evenings, wellness events and even special days for local residents.

“We’d like the farm to become once again a place where people can meet and talk, where they can come not only to celebrate events, but also to forge links between the generations

With its five spacious and cosy guest rooms, Ferme Marie-Hélène is an ideal stopover for visitors in search ofauthenticity.

“Our rooms are designed to feel like a cocoon. We want people to feel at home here”

Open all year round, they welcome brides, grooms and their families, as well as travellers passing through, particularly during the Christmas markets.

An ever-changing future

Running a place like this is a daily challenge, but the couple have no shortage of ideas for thefuture.

“We’re always rethinking the spaces, redesigning the park and innovating with new events. We want every visit to be a discovery”

New projects are emerging as part of this dynamic: strengthening the offer for businesses, organising culinary workshops, concerts and art exhibitions.

A place to call home

More than just a reception venue, Ferme Marie-Hélène is a life project, driven by Guillaume and Laurence’s passion and desire to share.

“What’s most important to us is that our visitors leave with that little sparkle in their eyes, with the desire to come back or to share our address with their loved ones

It’s a philosophy that resonates with the authenticity of the Kochersberg, where tradition and modernity combine to offer a unique experience.
