2. Folles ID, an association like no other

The Folles ID association was born of a simple conversation between Gilles and Muriel Stenzel, bothescape game enthusiasts. Their passion quickly gave rise to a dynamic collective, now boasting some fifty committed volunteers. What sets Folles ID apart is its commitment to creating high-quality immersive experiences, where entertainment goes hand in hand with cultural discovery.

More than just games, Folles ID promotes the values of sharing, inclusion and creativity. Each project is based on rigorous teamwork, with meetings, brainstorming sessions and intensive testing phases. We don’t just want to offer a game, we want to offer an unforgettable adventure that leaves a lasting impression“, explains Gilles. The association is constantly innovating and pushing back the boundaries of escape game staging.

Over the years, Folles ID has broadened its scope by diversifying its events. The association offers interactive events, life-size role-playing games and dramatised experiences suitable for all ages. The idea is always the same: to invite the audience to play a part in the story being told.

Diving into the heart of the Eskapades Nocturnes

“Les EsKapades Nocturnes” is a unique escape game designed to immerse players inlocal history. For a good hour, participants will explore ten areas of the museum, each containing its own mysteries,riddles and emblematic characters played by volunteers. Each room is carefully staged and immersively decorated to transport visitors to a bygone era, where they will have to use theiringenuity andteam spirit to progress.

Organising such an event in a historic museum was not without its challenges. Adapting the sets while respecting the authenticity of the site required a great deal of thought and meticulous work: “We designed tailor-made settings, taking care not to alter the integrity of the museum. We want visitors to have fun while discovering our heritage in an original way,” says Gilles. The greatest challenge was to integrate the various set and puzzle elements without disrupting the layout of the existing exhibitions.

This year, the emphasis is on the adaptability of the game: depending on the level of the participants, the puzzles can be adjusted to suit beginners and experienced players alike.
