As an introduction to the exhibition: What constitutes religious heritage? This talk by Benoît Jordan (President of the Conservatoire du patrimoine religieux en Alsace, Director of the Archives of the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg) will focus on works of art, furniture, stained glass and gold and silverware, with particular emphasis on vestments, liturgical objects and rare books. It will be illustrated by examples from the Kochersberg region.
